On February 1, 1636, a small group “gathered in the Spirit” to become a congregation that has maintained a covenant with God and our community in Harvard Square for 375 years. Today, we gather in our sixth meeting house, the stone church on Cambridge Common with the rooster on its tower.
Come join us to celebrate 375 Years On The Way.

Our theme -- 375 YEARS ON THE WAY -- links us to:
-
the early Christians who described their faith simply as "The Way"
-
the "Congregational Way" of our Puritan forebears
-
and the Way of Hospitality that guides us today.
Whether you join us virtually or actually -- for a few steps or a long walk -- you are welcome to become part of First Church: 375 Years On The Way.
